I have liked the many repetitions and work on pronunciation. The lessons are about the right length to keep up. It is good that each stretches your knowledge by adding more words and phrases to build up vocabulary. Good stuff!!
Rocket Chinese — Carson City / Nevada
Impressive site layout and audio pronunciation of words and phrases. Downloadable lessons are a real plus and are great for training on the go or while working out or riding my bike. The survival kit is a real bonus for focusing on specific areas or themes. Rocket will be a definitely be "value-added" in helping me to prepare for my move to Shanghai next year.
Rocket German — tehran
I love Rocket Languages ,because it helps me to learn german words with their true pronounciation , it is very interesting site to me, but unfortunetly I can not pay for that to use all it's materials :(
Rocket Italian — Richmond, California , United States
I am just in the early Italian lessons but already I have a feel for the language. The ROCKET style is both immersive and explanatory. The lessons are based on real conversations and then verbs and grammar are expanded. The added cultural references are fantastic!
I think the strongest feature of the curriculum lies with the ability to record your own voice and compare it to the lesson speaker. I am able to speak and listen over and over, hearing every little inflection until I get it right.
I am picking up more French than I did in school. My wife speaks French and we can have short conversations just after 1 lesson. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn French. Love this product.
Rocket Japanese — Kiyosato
Great supplement to living and working in Japan and understanding the meaning of what I hear everyday! The material is practical and used every day, but may need other programs to learn the basics of the hiragana and katakana.
Its a very nice and easy way to learn how to read and pronounce the letters. I am very grateful to the staff of Rocket Languages, and I advice any beginner to start using it too.I would like them to add more and more lessons to help spread of learning french.
Rocket French — China
Well I think that Rocket Languages should be all five stars. Duolingo actually only takes you to around B2 level, while someone can pass GCSE, IGCSE and their O Levels in French by completing Level 3. Level 1 is the A family (A1-2), Level 2 is the B family (B1-2), and Level 3 is the C family (C1-2). Honestly, this must be all five stars.
Rocket Spanish — United States
My only complaint is that the Spanish keyboard is difficult to use and would be best if it were just built directly into the screen instead of me having to pull it out for each individual exercise. Other than that, I love this system. It is so user friendly, personalized, and easy to navigate. It is thorough in the way it teaches the material and gives the user a lot of freedom to make choices along the way.
Rocket Chinese — Ras Al Khaimah
