I signed up a while ago but have been using it intensively for the last week - and I am really enjoying it! If you make use of all the different ways of testing yourself - recording, role playing, writing etc. - then you can make real progress quickly.
ويسرني جدا! هذا بتنسمج مفيد جدا، خصوصا عندما يعرف الطالب درس الفصحى قبل. أنا اثقة من البرنامج ستساعد لي أن أبدأ الحديث مع أصدقائي المصرية قريبا. شكرا
Rocket languages is both easy to use and fun to work with. The interactive lessons are brilliant and a great way to learn and the writing lessons are cogent and informative. I hope this software can improve my arabic to conversational level and I feel it endeavours to do so.
I completed Pimsleur Egyptian Arabic Level 1 and attempted some Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) for 2 weeks before going back to focusing on a dialect since nobody speaks MSA. This course is great but to get the most out of it, you have to focus on writing & reading everything (no shortcuts) in Arabic Script as many times as necessary until you don't have to rely on the latin (Franco-Arabic Script). Only then, can you move on to reading Arabic (Egyptian) Press, Books, Graded Readers, song lyrics etc... This program will get you to a solid intermediate!
I've used Rosetta Stone for other languages including Arabic and nothing matches Rocket Arabic. Rosetta Stone was completely unusable. Rocket languages is the best method I've used to date for learning a language.
This is an excellent program, in my opinion better than the comparable Pimsleur product, because it makes an attempt to explain the grammar. The dialogues are well spoken and practical. The main shortcoming is that there is no follow-up program. We need to have at least a Rocket Arabic 2 and preferably a 3 as well. Otherwise, there is a bit of a feeling of being abandoned at the start of the journey.
I am satisfied with the service and I I have been sitting in front of my monitor for hours to learn the language
I mark with a star for my own collection which also is a nice service - to listen to them while I have no time to sit down at my desk.
The first time I tried the lessons I just said ‘noooo, I can’t do this, Arabic is toooo hard’. But after a few times I’m starting to understand and remember a few words and sounds.
I’m a language teacher, and I’m really impressed with the course so far.
I had tried Rosetta Stone for learning Arabic..I found it very difficult to grasp. With Rocket I began immediately to understand what was being taught and putting it into practice immediately. Native Arab speaking friends of mine understood what I was saying and even praised me on how well I am doing.
It´s great to be able to have your own tutor!!You can" make" him/her repeat as many times as you need. It´s also great to see how the pitch, speed and flow goes in the display. These are my first baby steps and I looking forward for more!!!
