WOW seems amazing looking forward to doing that! 

It's an excellent upgrade, as rather than just coasting through as before, the multiple options make one think and then work at the script from different angles.  Well done, team.

Sorry to say, I am very unhappy with the upgrade.  I am in Level 3 in French,  I turn off the English settings so that I can think in French rather than continuing to have translation be the basis of my learning.  I also do not want to spend time memorizing conversations that I will never use.  Is there any way to allow us to choose to go back to the old system?  

In addition, after spending countless hours working my way through Level 2 and Play the Part 1 and 2 - with French only, I now have to look at a scoring system that doesn't represent the hours of effort I've put in.  How discouraging.  

I've been at this for 382 days straight, but I am strongly considering making a change away from this platform.  Maybe I'm at the level where I need to do that anyway,  and your change in platform is actually doing me a favor.  Too bad, I really enjoyed it!

First of all, congratulations on your incredible 382-day streak and reaching Level 3 in French!

I understand your frustration with the recent upgrade and your concern about the new rating/progress system not reflecting the countless hours of effort you put in. It is completely understandable that this feels discouraging. Our customer support team will be in touch about some ways we can rectify this.

Regarding your concern about having translation be the basis of your learning, the good news is that you do not need to memorize conversations you will never use. While we cannot revert your account to the old system as you asked, the new platform is highly customizable. You can actually "switch off" the English completely and just use a "French clue," which provides only the first French word of the phrase. This setting allows you to continue thinking directly in French, just as you prefer.

We truly value your dedication and hope you will try adjusting these settings before considering a change away from our platform. We really want you to stay and continue your language learning journey with us! If you need any help navigating these options, please let us know.

Ciao a tutti! I am curious about how long everyone has been studying a different language? I am taking Italian and English this year and I find it hard to switch from spelling in Italian then spelling in English :) 

Ciao sparrow.  I've studied languages my whole life including Italian, because it's a fantastic hobby.  I'm currently back to Spanish because I enjoy it the most.  Enjoy!

On the desktop version we have just added a feature whereby, at the end of a Role Playing activity, you can click a button to “Review Hard Phrases” and see any phrases that were less than 100% correct.

This will be rolled out to the Android and iOS apps later this week!

i am intrested to see if people use computars/laptops or phones for learning?
i use a computar. 

I use a laptop (MacBook Air) and use Chrome, as that seems to work a bit better for me than Safari.  Voice recognition is always better on the app (on iPhone), but I prefer to use the desktop version.

yeah okay, i use chorme as well i have tried using edge (as i have a lenovo computar) but like the mic dosen't work properly there.

I use a computer and it seems to work really well!

It is amazing!!!!

For the upgrade i espcially love the way you can just have the spanish clue i find that really helpful for learning.

I also appreciate the upgrade, it doesn't allow for any “cheating” and allows you to actually learn the language! I also have an italian relative so that helps :)
