Living in regional Australia, I am unable to undertake formal Russian language studies, but this is the next best thing. It manages to cover all the essential language skills which is something I haven't found in a lot of self-directed courses. Self-directed teaching means my speaking and listening skills need extra attention to ensure I am always progressing. My favourite feature is being able to compare my own voice to that of a native speaker—it has helped my spoken Russian immensely. As an ESL tutor, another feature I love is "language chunking". It makes forming new sentences easier, and I can speak phrases with a more natural flow.

I love Rocket Japanese! I've been studying Japanese for a few years now and the biggest problem I always had was that I had to keep switching between several different books, audio CDs, and computer courses in order to get a FULL education. It was incredibly frustrating when I would finish a book or course and not feel like I had learned very much that I could actually use. Then I found Rocket Japanese - Thank God!!! My two favorite things are that it covers ALL aspects of Japanese (speaking, listening, reading, writing, and culture) and also that there is an enormous amount of material. I invested in all three levels and it was the best decision I've ever made when it comes to learning Japanese. Very well designed course, it is easier to learn the sounds in Chinese which is the most difficult part about learning the language once you memorize basic vocabulary. Excellent Course, highly recommended.
