Bonjour tout le monde ! Hello everyone!

I hope the start of 2022 has treated you all well.

Some exciting news from the team at Rocket Languages...

Within the next couple of weeks, we will release our 2022 Edition, and of course, if you are a current member, you will get this major update for free!

So, what's new in the 2022 Edition?

The key changes are around the user interface and how you navigate around your course.

As you probably know, our courses are among the most comprehensive in the language learning space.

One challenge we have in creating such comprehensive courses is that there is an awful lot of material and content for users to navigate.

So, we started looking at how best to display the course content using the best user design expertise and technology available.

We think we have come up with a brilliant solution and we look forward to sharing it with you all soon!

Once we release the desktop version of the 2022 Edition, we will dive straight into redesigning the Android and iOS apps in a similar way.

Watch this space! I will post updates here as we confirm the launch date.

What else has been happening?

Over the last few months we have released our Play the Part series for German, Japanese, and Chinese with Korean on its way. The Play the Part series is a collection of 10 lessons themed around everyday conversations like ordering food, shopping and socializing.

You can check them out here:

  • Rocket German Play the Part
  • Rocket Japanese Play the Part
  • Rocket Chinese Play the Part

Also, the Rocket French Level 1 Language & Culture lessons have been entirely rewritten, while Levels 2 and 3 are ‌being redone. Level 2 is not far away from being released, so look out for updates in the French forum.

Au revoir !

The preview screen shots look good, Jason.  The ongoing investment in improving the product is always impressive.  Thanks.

Hi Jason

That is really exciting. I bought the German “Play the Part” and just love it. Really practical and I really hope that one day you will consider an Italian one. I ave the travelogues in Italian and they are great, but I think from a practicality point of view the "Play the Part is for everyday living. I feel fairly confident that I could walk into a bakery, buy street food and othere shops and be quite confident that I would understand them. Even though I am still at level 1 German

I'm looking forward to a “Play the Part” in Spanish.

Hi Sebongela - Thanks for the feedback! We really tried to hone in on very practical situations with the “Play the Part” courses.

Hi Steven - We have Spanish, French and Italian “Play the Part” courses on the product development wish list!

Hi Jason

I am really excited for a potential Italian “Play the Part” Have the full shebang for German and Italian, but would buy the “Play the Part ” Italian in a heart beat. I enjoy the travelogues, but find the play the heart, so practical. A great bonus to German Rocket.
