Hi, there, Just taken download of course, was b grade o-level many yrs ago ,now I would say have slipped to tourist level, ie ,one or two phrases to get by when on hols. As long as things go well can get by, but, find conversation difficult mainly because I cannot get my 'ear'' in. Humiliating as my wife is practically fluent! This course looks good for my needs and am hoping to get to the end of the premium level soon. What level on the European Framework of reference do you think the premium course gets you to, and the premium plus? Thanks.

Salut, this is what most learners find: you know the rules, some vocab and sentences, but actually taking part in a conversation and understanding what is being said is the most difficult part. If you use all the components of the course and take some time each day to go through the practice conversations you will find that you can easily reach the "B" level according to the European Framework of Reference, which will make you an "Independent User". You will find that for most part of the course you will be at the "A" Level and then progress to "B" towards the end. You will learn many building blocks (common words and how to use them in different situations) which will really help you when having a conversation with native speakers. Please let me know if you have any questions. All the best for your French learning.
