Why while in the middle of doing the benchmark test for French, does it freeze up so that I can't click the “easy”, or “hard” button and move on to the next question. Sometimes I'm like ‘40’ into it and it does this. When I refresh, all my progress for that test is removed and I have to start over. Do you know why this would be happening, and is there any way to fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for following up. Yes! The IT team have worked on the issue, and you should find that the Benchmark test no longer crashes mid-test. Please try it again, and if you have any further issues, please let us know.

Hi, yesterday the benchmark test didn't crash for a while, but today it's crashing. This is what it looks like. If you'll notice there are no boxes that I can click to continue the test. The only way to continue is by refreshing(which starts the test over). Sorry to bother you again. Thank you for being so kind!

Thank you for your reply, and I'm sorry to hear that you are still having trouble. I haven't been able to replicate this issue yet, but thought I would ask what happens if you select Easy, Good, or Hard when this occurs?

Hi, thank you for getting back. When I click either one of them, nothing happens. When it stops working, clicking them does as much good as it would for you to click them on the screenshot. Thank you for working on the problem!

Hi, just to join this conversation I tried to use the benchmark test today, 12 May, and had the fault as previously reported. Are we the only two people using the benchmark test or the only two experiencing this fault?

Thank you for your feedback CharlesH58, it's very much appreciated. I'm going to assume that this is an issue affecting everyone, although we have only received a few reports from our learners. I haven't had a reply from my colleague in the IT team yet, but hopefully I will hear from them this week. Unfortunately we are short staffed at the moment, and so some issues are taking longer than we would like to correct. I will be in touch again as soon as I have some news for you.
