In « car je l’aimais bien cette veste » the program said it means “ because I really liked this jacket” but there are two objects in this sentence: “la” in “l’aimais” and “veste”, shouldn’t it be « car j’aimais bien cette veste » ?

Salut KaL1075 !

Thank you for your question! It is actually a feature of colloquial French to repeat objects like this in a sentence. It wouldn't be wrong at all to say car j'aimais bien cette veste, but it sounds more natural to native speakers to have that repetition: car je l'aimais bien, cette veste.

I hope that this is helpful! Do let me know if you have any more questions.

Bonne journée,

Liss
