Chinese Writing exercises

I just started today, and I can't figure out how to add the tones to the pinyin writing section. Is there an explanation somewhere that I missed?

When you head to the Writing Pinyin activity, you should see a keyboard below it that allows you to select the relevant Latin letter. Once you have done this, you'll be presented with the tones and need to click the required one to add it to the text box. 

This will appear a bit different on the app; there, you should see a bar above your regular keyboard with a similar set of options. If this is not what you see, you can always contact us at support@rocketlanguages.com, and we'd be happy to see what we can do to help.
