Which one is correct दुकान(dukān) or दूकान(dūkān)? Short u or long ū? You see both in lessions. The correct spelling is दुकान(dukān)=shop. It is a short "u" The correct transliteration is dukān or dukaan not dhookan. द=dental d(unaspirated). Namaste!
