Adding to vocab list from lesson

I used to be able to add new vocab words from the conversations and grammar lessons very easily but something has changed and when I add a new word now with its English meaning and some grammatical or usage notes I am asked if I want to view my entire vocab list - whether I say "No" or just click outside the pop-up box the system takes me right back to the very beginning of that particular conversation or grammar lesson and I have to scroll down to the place where I had been working so as to carry on. Why does the "My Vocab" system do this? How can I avoid this annoying and time wasting action? It is making me less and less inclinded to bother adding new words to My Vocab list.
