How do you add a word to My Vocabulary?

I used to know how to add a word to the My Vocabulary list, because I have a few words already there. But I don't remember what I did to get them there, and I can't find the instructions for adding new words. Thanks.

Ciao Mary Double left click over the word with your mouse and that will bring up the abc icon click on that and 'My Vocab' will appear. A presto.

Grazie, Grahame. When I tried adding a word to My Vocab in Safari (v. 6.0.5 for Mac), I got no response. I switched to Firefox and it worked. I'll see if there's a tech support place where I should report this. Ciao.
