This is the way the sentence has been written: "Per che se oggi sono questa persona."
I believe that part of the sentence, "oggi sono questa persona" can be translated as "I am the person today..." I am having trouble with the meaning of the three words "Per che se" - Can anyone help me with this?
I just recently started the Rocket Italian course so this is probably pretty basic stuff - but I would really appreciate any assistance.
Thanks.

Because if today I am this person.
Perché not per che.
