Ciao, sono ancora io (??) We have learned how to say "There is", and "There are". But, how would you say "There was", or "There were"? Would it be something like this: Ce e essuto and ce sono essuto? Thanks, Edith

Ciao Edith, che piacere !(what a pleasure!). Welcome back to the Rocket Italian Forum and Community. Trying to guess a word or an expression that you don't know, it's always a good approach in the learning process of a language. Unfortunately in this case the translation of these expressions is: There was= C' era There were= C'erano Thank you and all the best for your Italian learning. Ciao. Romina The Rocket Italian Team
