Ciao a tutti, I was wondering when to use what words for time in italian. As far as I know, there seems to be multiple words for time; volta, ora, and tempo. All three seem to be used in similair contexts, so I was wondering if there are differences between them

Ciao Dario, Ora (f) derived from Latin: hora, ae, f. an hour. Example:Che ora è? or Che ore sono? (What time is it?) Tempo(m) derived from Latin;tempus, oris, n. time. Examples: Da molto tempo For a long time Ho tempo...di parlare. (I have time... to speak) Il tempo è danaro Time is money Il tempo era bello The weather was nice Volta=vez(Spanish)=time Examples: Una volta Once Due volte Twice. Sì, una volta alla settimana Yes, once a week) La prima volta The first time L'ultima volta The last time Qualche volta Sometimes Questa volta andiamo a pranzare al ristorante! This time we are going to eat at the restaurant!
