When to use "posso or riesco?"

Ciao, per favore mi potete dire qual'è corretto..... non posso capirlo / non lo posso capire o non riesco capirlo / non lo reisco capire. I can't understand him/it. anche, quest'è corretto????? non capisco cio che dice! I don't understand what you are saying! (literally = i don't undersand this that you say!) Ciao Fra, che piacere risentirti :) The sentence "I can't understand him" in Italian is "io non lo capisco". The verb "to understand" = "capire". If you say "non riesco a capirlo" , you will mean "i'm able to undersatand it/him". I hope this help :) Ciao

Ciao Fran, you can either say "non capisco cio' che dice" (formal form) /"non capisco cio' che dici" (friendly form) means literally "I don't understand what you say". "Non capisco cio' che vuoi dire" ( friendly form) can be also used but it means "I don't understand what you want to say". I hope this helps. Ciao
