Minasan, Konnichiwa!

I am writing an email to my Japanese penpal and I want to make sure that I am using the correct words and grammar. I'm still learning so sumimasen  if I have butchered this. 

My penpal has commented in English that "I am full of curiousity" and that she is the same. I want to reply to her in Japanese that I like that she is curious like me. 
Would "Watashi wa anata no koukishin suki desu" be correct?

I'm not an expert, so you'll most likely want someone else to confirm, but this seems right, although if I'm not mistaken, you could leave off "私は"; and it would be more polite to use "(pen pal's name)さん" instead of "あなた".
