In the grammar 1.7 quiz there's a question that asks -
All of the above are true EXCEPT
And the answer is Karaimono to Amaimono ga arimasu. - ("There are spicy dishes and sweet dishes")
Yet we don't learn the word for sweet and spicy till grammar 1.8?
I've been finding a lot of this in the quiz's, questions about things not learn yet.
So I'm just posting this so maybe in time they can be fixed.

Well, on the quiz's that can happen but usually when it is done it is basically a sneaky way for them to try and truly test you what you do know. Cause if everything but the answer is stuff you have learned then well the answer should be obvious that it is the thing you don't know in that scenario.
In other words they're trying also slightly trying to teach you figure things out when you don't know a word which will happen if you go to Japan. I don't care how good of a student or how much language material you've covered, you are going to run into words you don't know and so it's best that you try and learn how to deal with that now than when your in the middle of a conversation surrounded by people.

Konnichiwa!
Thank you both very much for your feedback regarding the quizzes. It is very helpful to know what our learners think of them as this is an entirely new addition of our course. I will personally go through them and see if the questions and answers are appropriate for that lessons. If you do find that a particular question is not taught in the IAC or Grammar lesson - please let us know!
