this is what Sayaka has said in a few of the introductions i listened to..
it is from the verb au to meet..this is the mashita form..
so she said mata aimashita..
it measn " we meet again."

I didn't notice. Is she saying mata ashita? ashita is tomorrow. It's a devoiced i so it sounds a lot like ashta.
One of my concerns is that she's from Osaka and among Japanese, Osakans are known for having a strong regional accent. Just about everybody outside of Tokyo has a regional accent of some kind.

just a little note:
The main part of the Rocket Japanese product development was done by a native speaker from Mie, near Nagoya. All the material of the Rocket Japanese course has been checked by different native Japanese speakers to make sure that we don't use terms that are onbly understood in one region.
