Konnichiwa! While trying to speak japanese I realized I have no idea how to "japanize" XD my name my name is Audra (pronounced Odd rah in English) ? and how can I figure out others names? also what about items like Peeps (marshmallow puffed candy brand)? Is the spelling similar? Or purely phonetic like pipusu? (attempt at making this sound the same) *fails* XD *SIDE NOTE* I was going to say "Your eyes are blue" however I am not 100% on the translation. I tried using google and they use 目for eyes should I be using this instead of め or メ ? What would be the proper translations for these? XD I have managed to work through some sentences but still just a beginner. arigatō gozaimashita ^^

I looked it up in http://japanesetranslator.co.uk which has a name translator It is pronounced "OODORA". (Consonants are pronounced more or less the same way as in English. "A" sounds like a in father, but shorter. "O" sounds like o in old. Double vowels like "OO" are held for twice the duration of single vowels.) If you look at the site it will give the katakana (I can't copy it)

Konnichiwa Sheepeh-san, _'Audra'_ would be spelled オードラ (in Katakana) and pronounced *O-O-DO-RA.* _'Peeps'_ would be spelled ピープス (in Katakana) and pronounced *PI-I-PU-SU.* _'Your eyes are blue'_ would be: If written in both Hiragana and Kanji... あなた の 目 は 青い。 If written only in Hiragana... あなた の め は あおい。 Both are read... *Anata no me wa aoi.* I hope that helps! -Sayaka :P
