I'm guessing that you don't use "っ" for representing a double "n"
since Sonnani is spelled そんあに?

That's right. Double "n" is never represented with " つ ",
instead with a " ん " preceding the n-mora.

Ummm, While LasLasso is right, Michael-S303 is not right about the
spelling.
It is そんなに, not そんあに
