The top two results state its a store... so that's what I'm going with >.>.
Random Plug: http://www.jisho.org is a perfect place to look up words for their meaning, does a much better job than any other online dictionary I know of...
So yeah, どいたしまして!

Arigato gozai mashita! By the way, "O mise" could also means "restaurant" am I right?

Probably a question better answered by Sayaka....
While my guess/gut hints towards "yes", I still have the feeling I may be wrong as a shop can be considered different from a restaurant really...

yes, mise means store/shop. If you listen to the audio lesson with the sushi, you will hear them say it means shop. basically "sushi shop" or in English, it would probably translate more like "sushi restaurant." So yeah, I am sure it can be used as restaurant too, but there is probably a separate word for the literal translation of restaurant. We'll see what Sayaka says! ^.^

xD... it's awesome how Sayaka is sacred genius of the forums and when a question everyone gets slightly puzzled on its like "Let's see what the Wizard of Oz has to say!"... if you couldn't tell Sayaka is the Wizard of Oz...
"Because because because because, all of the wonderful things she does! Were off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz!"
Although her response time might be delayed guys as she will probably be busy with the RJ Platinum release that's coming up! So patience will be key to those seeking enlightenment from the Wizard of Oz...

Please accept my apologies for this delayed response. Gomennasai!
Everyone here appears to know so much about Japanese...
YES! *MISE* translates literally as "shop" or "store" and the *O* which may come before *MISE* is just the honorific prefix.

you can also use レストラン, for restaurant "日本のレストラン" Japanese restruant. Also adding "ya" on the end can signify something as a shop/store. Like honya would be a bookstore.
