__"This is (insert name) give me a call back."__
Please let me know what the formal way is to leave a call back message on a Japanese phone.

Konnichiwa Brian san!
Here's how you'll answer an answering machine- Basic Pattern:
*Moshi moshi. (name of person you're calling)-SAN. (You name) desu.
Kaettara denwa o kudasai. Domo.*
So, for example:
*Moshi moshi. Yoko-san. Brian desu. __Kaettara denwa o kudasai.__ Domo.*
_Hello Yoko. This is Brian. __When you get back, please give me a call.__ Thank you._ :D
You can also say:
*Moshi moshi. Yoko-san. Brian desu. __Mata denwa o shimasu.__ Domo.*
_Hello Yoko. This is Brian. __I'll call you again. __Thank you._
Or, a bit more formal:
*Moshi moshi. Yoko-san. Brian desu. __Yokattara odenwa o kudasai.__ Domo.*
_Hello Yoko. This is Brian. __If you don't mind, could you give me a call? __Thank you._
