use and meaning of "tenten"

In the introduction to level 3, 15.1, Taro is giving reasons for why he enjoys working for Rocket Japanese. 
He says: “Shinto wa jubun ni au shigoto o sagashite tenten to shite imasu.”  I haven't been able to figure out what “tenten” means. It's not in the dictionary I have. Google translate says it's a “diacritical mark” , such as in が. Of course in the sentence, “diacritical mark” makes no sense at all. I did find out that there is an anime character named “Tenten” because, I guess, her hair has two knots that might be like the diacritical mark.  Maybe the meaning comes from Tenten's character (personality)??? I would like to know the meaning and derivation of “tenten”.

The sentence 仕事は自分に合う仕事を探して転々としています。(Shigoto wa jibun ni au shigoto o sagashite tenten to shite imasu.) translates to “As for work, (I) am moving from place to place, looking for a job that suits (me).”

The word 転々 (tenten) means “moving from place to place" and in this sentence, refers to Taro moving between different jobs or workplaces while searching for one that feels like a good fit for him.
