Hello there,
Shimasu ka? Yoroshii desu ka? ii desu ka? Ikaga desu ka?
Far as I understand all these mean 'would you like'. My question is basically whats the difference? When would I use which version of 'would you like'?
P.S. Do you have a release date for the second Rocket Japanese course? I know in previous forum questions you've told us it would be released sometime this year, just wondered if you had an actual date. And will it be an advanced course?
:D

From my studies this is what I have come to understand.
shimasu ka = is more like "What do you want to do?"
ii desu ka = is more like "is it good?"
yoroshii desu ka = is more like "is it alright?"
ikaga desu ka = is more like "how are you doing?"
These are to my knowledge the best way to translate the meanings but if I am wrong I am sure the *"rljapan admin"* will make the corrections maybe this will hold you over till then.
Hope this helps. :)
