We’re thrilled to introduce Roleplaying Videos in the Rocket Russian Audio Lessons! This brand-new feature is now available on both the desktop and app versions of Rocket Languages.

How to Use It:

- You’ll see two characters—click on either one to start roleplaying and practice speaking naturally!

Initially, I didn't see the point of the role playing videos but they've grown on me. It's not like having a real conversation where participants respond with original sentences, but I'm starting to get a sense of conversational give and take.  I like that the app listens, allowing time to complete my part of the dialogue and grades my performance so I get a sense of how I'm doing.

Like most Americans, I'm a hopeless mono-glot! I'm trying to rectify this by using Rocket to review and build on the Russian I learned in high school ages ago!
