Following the verbiage on the conversation pieces is great When repeating the words given in vocabulary, the words are spoken way too fast and it is hard to understand or to keep up with it. My recommendation would be to speak those words slower so the non-native speaker can follow easily regardless of age or where are you from. Also, the flashcards need sound for it.

Hi Valerie, thank you for your review. We're glad that you are enjoying the conversation aspects of the course, we will pass your feedback concerning the speed on to the development team. Regarding the flashcards, you can turn on audio for these by clicking on the setting gear in the activity and then selecting "Play audio on reveal." All the best!
Some of the settings and order are fine and I am learning relatively quickly. The problem is there are some errors with the sound files or miss spellings that are frustrating and some of the longer phrases earlier on are added to vocabulary but they are never broken down or explained so it is very hard to learn them.

Hi Adam, we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing some difficulties with the course. We have sent you an email to follow up with you on this.
I would like to learn Korean on my different devices, Mac, iPad and MS Surface, but I have no clue, how the program remembers how far I had already advanced on one device, when I continue with another. There is apparently no way to log in with my ID and Password, so that the program knows who I am. This feature probably exist, but it is difficult to find out where and how.
Note from Rocket Languages: Hi Jac, thanks for your feedback. Someone of our customer support team has reached out to you to solve this issue. All the best with your Korean learning! Your Rocket Languages Team

BANGTAN SONYEONDAN :)
Im still looking for the vocabulary lists ?
It doesnt help to teach someone how to say and memorize 'hello how are you' in Korean,
if they cannot find out which one is how, or you .......
Not happy with the lack of definitions......
Rocket language is so cool , it is real helpful, i just cant say how greatful i am for your assistance, now i can pronounce alot of korean words without a problem hopefull i wil be with you for a very long time it so amazing and understandible
It is such a shame. Rocket has the potential to be really good, but lack of attention to detail and poor explanations mean that it fails to reach its potential.
I have almost finished my Rocket Korean course. I have benefited from it, but only because I have a Korean wife, who has been able to explain things that Rocket have left vague, not explained well or just got plain wrong. First, the good things. The reinforcement process (Flashcards, oral repetition and so on) is excellent and has helped things to stick in my mind. The voice recognition software is also pretty good. It is weak on short words of one or two syllables, but in general works well. The audio conversations and reinforcement within them are also decent. There are three big problems with Rocket, however. Firstly, it’s explanations of grammar are not very clear and sometimes contain errors. Secondly it illustrates concepts with sentences that are far too complex and contain sections which are not explained. This is incredibly frustrating, because it means that you end up rote learning a lot of phrases rather than learning how to construct your own sentences. Finally the reference material and structure is very weak.

Response from Rocket Languages: Hi John - Thanks for the detailed feedback. We have recently added in subtitles to the Rocket Korean Interactive Audio course. That should help with finding the correct position. We are also looking at adding in "bookmarks" so that certain points can be highlighted for future reference. We will email you to find out more about some of your other points!
I'm an intermediate beginner learner and I got Rocket Korean in hopes that it would advance my level at a quicker pace than using a text book. What I have found is that it takes just as long if not two times as long to complete a lesson on here but when I do have time it is a very thorough, effective way to learn.
Definitely helpful to hear native Koreans speaking and the forms of testing made sure that i remember what i learned in the lesson. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants to practice their pronunciation. The site is very organized and easy to navigate. The tools are very useful. All in all, this is a good site.
i like Rocket Languages because im gonna learn korean languages Pretty good deal I would say! What I like very much are your e-mail follow ups, so I get constantly reminders to learn more Spanish in case I get too lazy. Rocket Spanish is pretty unique to me, because usually one buys a language course and when you have paid for it you're left alone with no help at all, let alone steady reminders and follow ups. You are like a live teacher to me, who cares about his student. I really appreciate your approach and willingness to help your customers. I would like to give you guys the highest compliments because I am a not only businessman and customer but I certainly know how it is to get help after acquiring something and to be reminded that there are people which really care and give you a helping hand when needed, you give the best of possible support. Many business lack this support, Your certainly DO NOT!show less
