The format is very interesting and easy to learn. The lessons are in bite-sized chunks and easy to memorise. I started about a week back and I am happy with the progress I am making. Thank you Rocket Languages!

I started with Rosetta Stone , I got frustrated when they introduced words and sentences that you had no explanation of. This frustrated me to no end, then I looked at someones blog post that referred to this site and thank God cause this is amazing. I read in someones review posted on this site that you can't go back to listen to something you missed during the conversation.

Audio lessons are a great tool to practice speaking aloud.
It would be great to have audio with the option of slow motion when listening. Thanks for providing such a great application!! I have already learnt so much.

absolutely awesome...progressive with tons of review...native speakers and conversation that is relevant and grammar and sentence structure. I would love it there were also most common (2000?) vocabulary building lists to use. i am using other resources for that as i also want to start building vocabulary. The more words you know the better...not just introductory conversation.

Rocket French is a great course and I've learned way more French than I have for 3 years in school. I'm now getting better marks in French class because I finally know more than the rest of the class. One thing that I didn't really like was that the voice recognition software doesn't work for me as it doesn't recognize what I'm saying even though I'm copying Paul and Marie-Claire. I also find this program a little pricy even though it's worth it.

I earned an undergrad degree in French fifty years ago, but I haven’t become proficient in speaking the language. Sad but true. Rocket Languages keeps my ears attuned to the language and enables me to practice anywhere that I have my phone.

I purchased the entire Rocket Japanese set (beginners, intermediate, advanced) for an amazing deal offered on Thanksgiving. I really, really like the way it's organized and the flow of the lessons from one to another. For the first week, I made the mistake of not learning the characters in tandem with learning the spoken word - you really have to learn them both together.
