Excellent way to learn such a difficult language, you just need some discipline and patience and little by little you start to understand and make sense of each word… I listen the course on my way to work or at the gym everyday and i dedicate a few hours on the week end for the reviews…

This is the most comprehensive language learning aid. Easy to access anywhere. I'm learning how the language is spoken, how to write and read the characters, and the lessons are entertaining and engaging. The only other resource I use to complement the lessons is the Arch Chinese website to help dig deep into the details of each character.

Very good interaction, even though there is no actual interaction with a live person. The testing is excellent with repetition of phrases. One thing I would like is a vocabulary list for each lesson.

I've been looking to learn Mandarin for a long time. I considered personal tuition, classroom setting, correspondence courses as well as learning from tapes but they all only emphasized on spoken/conversational Mandarin which is not what I wanted. I wanted to learn to write as well and AT LAST I've found it. Thanks Rocket! And what's more perfect is not only can I learn at my own pace but I can always go back to review what I've learnt to ensure I got my writing right.

I also like the tests after each lesson so I can gauge how I'm doing.

I have used Rocket Language course in the Past. It is found to be very useful. At present, I am using Rocket Chinese. My Spouse has started learning using a Rocket German Course.
I have no reservation in recommending Rocket Language courses to my relatives and friends.
The course at present is Audio. I suggest Rocket Languages to introduce Video Courses.

Very helpful. I am part Chinese and I like being competitive. I like how you can move up through the ranks. I want to travel the world so this program can help me speak to others. I am starting the Advanced Learning technique.

I really do enjoy this course, I love the idea of being able to do it at my own pace. A++++++
I am just about to do my exercise but thought I would stop by and do a review first to show my appreciation and to assist others in making a decision to choose Rocket Languages.

The learning format is presented well, the only complaint is the price, which is a bit high. The voice recognition is done well however it has issues recognizing the English form of the names such as Dave some times.
