Rocket Languages is a program designed for beginners to easily comprehend how to pronounce the words. You might have to run through the lesson a couple of times though, but that's to be expected from any form of learning.

I like to learn Chinese online with Rocket Chinese. Because here are very interesting topics and lessons, has possibilities to see and to read the phrases that are frequently used in everyday life and can to hear very clear pronunciation of native speakers.

This course does a good job of giving a structured set of lessons as well as lots of nice extra material. It gives good basics on pronunciation, writing, as well as some grammar and cultural information. Very useful for getting a good foundation which you can use to start studying more on your own. I will consider getting the second part of the course, but at this point I feel I can begin to branch out on my own as well with the tools I have.

Do not pay too much attention to who tells you learning Chinese is impossible, and online courses do not work. Tried so many chinese language books in the market but can't still seem to grasp the Mandarin language, I have trouble particularly in the confusing tones. I'm just in the first 3 lessons but I can feel the competency of this module as compared to others.

I can practice my Chinese with my work-PC, my personal laptop or my spouse's computer. It's simple perfect! The lessons are well guided and very encouraging when you see the progress you already made. Also, because you can compare you score with other's people score it is also encouraging to see that you are not alone. I love Rocket Chinese, I would never dream that someday I would learn Chinese.

Rocket Chinese makes learning fun. The writing modules are help in learning to recognize and write characters. The addition of the new modules that let me record myself and compare my speech to the ideal is a real help in getting the tones and pronunciation just right.

The program really taught me how to speak Mandarin from day 1. The more lessons I complete, the more I want to practice and to take new lessons.
