Forum error with my custom flashcard collection

error with my custom flashcard collection

when I am trying to create a custom flashcard collection when iI press "create" a box pops up saying there was an error    Any ideas why this is happening ?

I'm finding it isn't working either jolietil.  I've been trying for the past few days.

Same problem.   I thought it was just the new feature to import my vocab into the flashcards.

Same. I sent a message to customer support yesterday, and I'm waiting to hear back. I tried all three ways of creating flash cards. Manual, bulk load and import vocab. I get the same error for all three, and it doesn't give any details. It just tells me that an error occurred. I don't think it was a user error; I've been in technology for over 30 yrs and I'm sure I filled everything in. Considering this thread is only a couple of days old, my guess is there's a temporary system issue on their end. As an added note, the bulk import offers a choice of tab delimited vs. comma delimited. I wouldn't even bother trying comma delimited since phrases that I want on flashcards contain commas. Importing a comma delimited file that contains commas that are not being used as delimiters always produces undesired results.

This is frustrating. I had gone through the entire French learning program from the most popular online source, and it didn't suit my learning style.  I just started Rocket French a couple of weeks ago, and I LOVE it. I'm leaving for a vacation in France in 5 days, and for the last 3 days I've been trying to make flashcards to practice phrases I expect to use the most.  After spending $260 for the complete set, it seems they have no customer support for paying customers. Customer support responded quickly once before, but I think I was still using the trial version at the time, so they were still trying to sell me something.  Supposedly I have 60 days to get my money back, and I have the day marked on my calendar a few days before the 60 days are up. No support for full members would absolutely mean I'm going to ask for the refund and try something else.

Same problem- tried clearing cache , different browser etc...still doesn´t work

I just got a response from customer support. Apparently they know there's an issue. No ETA on resolving it, but it seems they're working on it:

Prepare yourselves to be somewhat frustrated with RG support response.  It's a good program but I do believe they run a bit lean with support staff.

Jason, It looks like everyone needs help with making custom flashcards! I have also tried to make a custom set, but had one error message after another. HEEELLLPPP!

After some time not working, today I did finally manage to import cards from my vocab in German.
