Thanks for such an interesting question! I'm copying below the same answer I gave on the other thread in case it's useful to other users.

In this case, the phrase is "Lavoro più di te" instead of "Lavoro più che te," since "te" is a noun and not a verb. 

Let's take the phrase "Mangiare è più faticoso che dormire." (Eating is more strenuous than sleeping), I'm going to use "che" because "dormire" is a verb. 

As stated in the lesson, when we compare "two verbs, they become più che or meno che." while "adjectives, adverbs and nouns are framed by the words più / meno ... di "more / less ... than."

• Sono più golosa che te.
• Ormai hai meno tempo per divertirti che per lavorare.
