Mi sento VS Mi sente

Jemma

Ciao,

Io ha una domanda da chiedere ( I have a question to ask ), I hope I said it correctly in italian :)

What is the difference between Mi sento and Mi sente? and when are they used?

Tante grazie

Hi Rachelyeo,

Io ho una domanda da chiedere :)

Mi sento means I feel  (lit. I feel myself), while mi sente means he/she hears me (also you hear me, formal). With a question mark, it therefore means can you hear me? in a formal context.

Hope this helps!

Lucia
