Is it il mio fratello gemello or just mio fratello gemello (lesson 5.4).  I thought if the singular noun is modified, you had to add the definite article????

Hi Annette,

In Italian, when referring to close family members, it is indeed common to omit the definite article before the possessive adjective. Therefore, the correct form is "mio fratello gemello" (my twin brother) without the definite article "il."

Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with.

Best regards,
Enxhi
