Prepositions

Came across this clear, comprehensive guide which gives good explanations of when to use da vs di, a vs in etc.  This comes up a lot.  I printed it out and keep it handy for those times when the reason for choice of preposition in a Rocket sentence isn't clear.  Rocket covers this information, but it's scattered around, or else I haven't yet gotten to the section focusing on prepositions.

Absolutely, Susan! Prepositions are vital components of any language. They help establish relationships between different elements in a sentence, such as nouns, pronouns, and phrases, by indicating location, direction, time, and more.

In Italian, prepositions can indeed be challenging because their usage can vary based on context. They often convey subtle nuances that require practice to master. The guide you shared provides valuable explanations to navigate these nuances effectively.

I'd like to remind you and all Italian learners that this forum is an excellent place not only to share resources but also to ask questions, seek clarification, and chat with other learners.
