Hello I would just like a clarifications on some prepositions.
Is the plural form of "un" "dei" and the plural form of "uno" "degli" or is it the inverse? I remember this was in a table of prepositions that I stumble upon a while ago, but sure I'm not if it is correct.
Singular : un uno
plural : dei degli

Ciao Gab,
the Italian indefinite articles are
singular
masculine
un uno
feminine
una (un')
There is no plural form .
"dei" and "degli" is the combination of the preposition "di" +article ("I" or "gli").
They are called "partitive article" which in English will be translated as "some".
Example:
-Vado in vacanza con dei compagni
-Io go on holidays with some mates
-Vado in vacanza con degli amici
-I go on holiday with some friends.
I hope this helps
Ciao
