Why "the chocolates(plural)" having le cioccolate instead of i cioccolate?

Hi Lokprakash,

Grazie per la domanda!
The noun "cioccolata" is feminine (la cioccolata). Therefore, the plural will be "le cioccolate" (feminine). The article "i" refers to plural masculine nouns.
Please note that, in Italian, we also have the noun "cioccolato": this is masculine and the plural would be "i cioccolati".
