Superlative of piccolo

In Language & Culture lesson 1.9, you discuss the superlative form of piccolo as copied below: piccolo becomes piccolissimi Why would this not be piccolissimo?

Ciao Mike, you are correct , "piccolo" will become -"piccolissimo" (masc. sing.) -"piccolissima" (fem. sing.) -"piccolissimi" (masc. plural) -"piccolissime (fem. plural) I hope this helps Ciao
