In lezione 6.6, the translation of Do not go without me! is 'non andare senza di me'. Perchè non è 'non vai senza di me!'

Ciao Alice,
in the sentence "do not go without me", we are using the imperative form as it's a command.
For this reason we will say "non andare...".
If you say "non vai ..." , it's considered as a statement so it will be translated as "you don't go ....".
I hope this helps.
Ciao

Mi scusi, questa era la questione stessa come ho chiesto per 'non ti preoccupare'.
My book of verbs gives va'/ vai or andate for the 2nd person imperative of andare, but it didn't remind me that it's different with the negative.
