Ciao.
Where might I find homework plans (book, website, etc) that roughly corresponds to the RocketItalian lessons, so that I can use a structured way of re-enforcing what I learn?
Grazie!
Where can I find homework plans?

I'm not aware of specific homework plans. What I do is regularly review each lesson - repetition is key. I try to review several lessons each day. For supplemental material to reinforce your learning, there are some good YouTube videos - https://www.youtube.com/@EasyItalian is one. Also, invest in a grammar book - Italian Grammar for Dummies is helpful. You can look at sections in that which correspond to the Rocket lessons to reinforce or clarify what you learn. I also find that writing down new vocabulary or tricky sentences helps.

Ciao Brant09,
While Rocket Italian provides comprehensive lessons, structured homework plans are not explicitly provided. However, you can create your own structured homework plans to reinforce what you learn effectively. Here are some suggestions:
- - Lesson Reviews: As Susan mentioned, regularly reviewing each lesson is crucial. Try to review several lessons each day, especially the ones you've recently covered, to reinforce your knowledge.
- - Supplemental Material: You can use additional resources like YouTube videos, podcasts, or Italian learning websites to supplement your learning.
- - Grammar Books: Investing in a good Italian grammar book, like "Italian Grammar for Dummies," is an excellent idea. You can use it to clarify grammar points and reinforce what you learn in Rocket Italian lessons. Try to match the book sections with Rocket lessons.
- - Practice Writing: Writing down new vocabulary words, tricky sentences, or even short paragraphs in Italian can be very helpful. It reinforces your memory and helps you become more comfortable with the language.
- - Flashcards: Create flashcards for new words, phrases, or verb conjugations. Review them regularly to improve your vocabulary and recall.
- - Language Exchange: Find a language exchange partner or join language learning communities online, our forum is a good fit for this. Conversing with other Italian speakers/learners can help you practice and reinforce what you learn.
- - Consistency: Consistency is key in language learning. Dedicate a set amount of time each day to practice. Even 15-30 minutes daily can make a significant difference over time.
Remember, everyone's learning style is different, so feel free to adjust these suggestions to fit your preferences and goals. Creating a structured plan that works for you will help you make steady progress in learning Italian.
In bocca al lupo (Good luck) with your Italian studies! If you have any more questions or need further guidance, feel free to ask. Grazie! :)

Hi Brant
Not sure if you have tried Coffee Break Languages. Their podcasts are free and they offer right from beginner to advanced as well as lots of other content. It is a subscrition site, but their podcasts are free. Not sure if you have to sign up and then use the podcasts, as I do subscribe to several of their language courses.
Easy listening and failry short.
