I'm just beginning so I have very basic question. In the flashcards, how do I know if it is referring to “you” singular or “you” plural?  In the other sections such as listening, you can tell from the grammar and verb conjugation, but I when it is presented in English as “you” without other context from the Italian verbs, how do I know?

Hi SandyR-w44k,

Great question! We use notations in the course to help differentiate words that only have one translation in English. With formality levels, you will see a notation on the activity showing you whether to use the formal or informal "you":

In this example, it lets you know that you need to use the singular and formal form (Lei). You can always hover over these notations to see what they mean.

I hope this helps!

Thank you.  I had read there would be a notation but I missed seeing it up in the corner.
