Why was the active streak reset to zero, despite daily completion of the lessons? I was using this a a motivational guide to ensure that a lesson was completed every day

I am also having trouble with the Rocket Languages website. The RocketRecord feature isn't working well for me; it often says that I am saying things wrong, even though I'm saying them correctly. I also cannot reset my Points Goal, so that I'm on here for a shorter time while still learning Spanish. I've tried all the viable corrections that I could think of doing, but nothing worked. Please Help?!

Hi Brittany,

Thanks for your post.  I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with Rocket Record.  Are you using a headset to record yourself?  If not, I would strongly recommend that you do.  It's also important not to have a lot of background noise, so that the recorder only picks up your voice, and it's not obscured.  For further tips on getting this feature working for you, I recommend checking out the following FAQ: https://members.rocketlanguages.com/members/help#/225

In regards to being able to edit your daily points goal, my sincere apologies - this is also something that the IT team are working on fixing.  We hope to have the points widget working correctly by tomorrow.

I have been experiencing the same issue with the Rocket Record, both with and without the use of a headset to record myself.  And it occurs sometime with very simple words. After trying four or five times, i am forced to simply dismiss it and move on to the next word.  I hope that it will also be reviewed by the administrators as well.

Thanks Margaret. I checked out that link already, but it was not helpful. I use a headset to record myself, and not the built-in mic. 
Derrick, I'm having it happen a lot with simple words and phrases, as well as the harder ones. I often have to dismiss them and come back to it later, for it to work the way it's supposed to work.
Thanks for the input guys, it helps me focus more on the lessons despite the problems.

Thanks both Brittany and Derrick for your replies.  Once again, my apologies for any inconvenience or frustration caused by Rocket Record.  

There are couple of things I can suggest to try and figure out the problem, or get things working consistently.  

- Firstly, please make sure that you are using the most up-to-date version of Chrome, and that your internet connection is stable.  
- If you get stuck on a particular phrase, please try doing a hard refresh of the page (F5) and trying it again.
- If you are consistently getting bad ratings, please make sure that Rocket Record is set to Easy (at least for a start).
- Make sure that your computer is detecting your headset, and not your built-in mic. If you're not sure, please don't hesitate to send the Customer Support team a screenshot of your mic setup (record yourself, then click on the camera icon in the browser address bar etc, as per the FAQ above). Try selecting different options to see if that helps.
- Try resetting your Chrome settings as follows:
1. Go to Settings in Chrome by clicking on the Menu Icon (3 horizontal lines).
2. Inside Settings, click "show advanced settings" 
3. Then, right at the bottom, click on "Reset Settings" to see if you can Restore Settings to their original defaults.

If none of these things help, one last thing to try is inspecting the page as you record, and is best done by contacting the Customer Support team directly (involves screenshots etc).  If you'd like to try that, please send an email to support at rocket languages dot com.
