I am on level 4.1 and have come to a brain block, I cant recall the other lessons. I have reviewed to where I thought I had it. Any suggestions. Do I just keep going, stop and start over, take a few days off. Help needed

I suggest going back and reviewing the earlier lessons.

I think the way languages work is just constant repetition. I know that I got it if a few days later, I can still remember. They tend to repeat. The test is whether one can actually converse with a native speaker. I can't wait to go to Spain and practice there or maybe enroll in one of those immersion classes. I just don't want to enroll and still be in the beginner's group.

I agree that repeating lessons helps and you mentioned that you have already done that. I would recommend checking other material (i.e. songs, books, movies, programs) that are close to your learning level. This provides diversity as well as repetition in your level of study. In previous posts I have admitted that anytime I review ANYTHING I not only recall something forgotten but many times learn something new that slipped by the first ten times! We all learn differently. Do what feels right for you and most importantly enjoy it knowing that RS is a great program and we are all learning and sharing together! Buenas suerte.
