Hi all, I hopefully should be receiving my Rocket Spanish soon. I went ahead and ordered the full CD pkg. I wanted to ask if there are any tips I could get ahead of time before it comes. Anything you guys can let me know to do or not to do. Also with regards to updates, will I be able to update my software as new ideas are added? I am so excited, I can't wait! My daughter speaks spanish and she can't wait till she can carry on a conversation with me.
It took me a whole month of trying to decide which software to buy as there seems to be so much out there but this program looked like so much fun and seemed to teach the language as an everyday language.
Anyway...thanks so much for any responses!
Gracious :D

I purchased this course a couple of weeks ago. I'm really learning a lot, so I think you make the right choice! I got a little pocket sized notebook in the dollar store and I write down every new word that I learn in the lessons. Every know and then I flip through it to refresh my memory. RS also supplies ample materials. _-aprender feliz_

I've got a great idea! Why don't you check out all the free lessons on the Rocket Spanish website? They're on the left-hand side of the https://www.rocketspanish.com page.
For example, here are piles of free grammar lessons:
https://www.rocketspanish.com/spanish_grammar_contents1.php
Here's a lot of great travel vocabulary:

There's even a pronunciation guide!

Have fun!

Hola! Wow I got my Rocket Spanish! Ok, I need some help to make sure that I am doing this correctly. I went by the "if you are serious to learn spanish" suggestions per the manual. I did lesson #1, do I move to lesson #2 or do I keep doing lesson #1, am I suppose to know the items in lesson #1 proficiently? What is the best way to use the MegaVocab/games?
Sorry to be so dense but I wanna make sure I do this correctly right out of the gate!!
Gracias !!

Hola Gracious,
It is really up to you how you want to structure your learning but my recommendation is in page 8 of the instructruction manual...
1. Listen to a lesson in the Interactive Audio Course.
2. Read the corresponding lesson in the Conversation Course.
3. Study the corresponding lesson in the Beginners Book, and do the exercises at the end of each part.
4. Schedule at least fifteen minutes to play the Rocket Spanish MegaVocab and MegaAudio games, or examine the supplemental vocabulary lists in the Beginners Vocabulary Supplement.
5. Listen to the Interactive Audio Lesson one final time. Consider how much more you now understand.
I hope that helps.
Mauricio.
