New Functionality: Play It! New Dashboard!

An already really fun Rocket Spanish Platinum course just keeps getting better and better. The varied topics address so many of the areas of everyday life. Each testing section seems to draw on a different kind of expertise in learning the language. And the progress dashboard is a real encouragement to keep working consistently. Many thanks to Rocket Languages - I can't imagine a better investment for learning a language.

I also really love it. I tell all my friends about it. I was talking to an IT guy who was working on my computer and found that he has been wanting to learn Spanish. I told him about Rocket Spanish. I got excited thinking that I now can share my experiences with Rocket Spanish. Now if I can find 4 or more friends from my work that share my enthusiasm with RS, it would be perfect.

I love the new dashboard! It will definitely hold me accountable to maintain an active streak. I am happy I decided to purchase Rocket Spanish!

wow, hate to be the only sour grape here, but I have finished the lessons three times and never once did the dashboard work...AT ALL !!! I just figured it to be a ploy to get one to buy something to get it to work or something. Think I will be moving on to something that works somewhat better !! Adios

You should have reported it. I hope its not too late.

I suspect he just listened to the audio portion of the lesson and expected that to update the dashboard. I saw this message quite awhile back and didn't think it was worth responding to. He wasn't asking for help. He ran into something he didn't understand and gave up. Given how much work is involved / perseverance is required in learning a new language, I think he made the right decision to move on to something else. Rocket Spanish is an outstanding product.

Steven, I feel the same way about some of the posters here. Forgive my bias, but they remind me of some members of the internet generation that expect instant results that require no expenditure of thought or energy. And now that I have branded myself as an pedo viejo...

I agree. Many people seem to think that programs such as Rocket Spanish or Rosetta Stone should make it easy to quickly learn the language. No matter what tools you use, you still have to at some point spend time memorizing. The tools help you along by making it more fun, but you still have to work at it. Rocket Spanish provides many tools to help with the process.
