Playback audio to fast

When using the record feature on the Desktop there is an option to playback what you recorded. The problem is the playback speed sounds like it is sped up greatly. I know I'm not speaking that fast. It's also usually quite choppy and poor in addition to the speed. 

I am using a wired headset/microphone, on Windows 10 Pro, and Chrome. 

I also use Speechling to practice my pronunciation, and the sound quality and speed are perfect.

Thank you for contacting us about this issue. We do hear about this sort of problem now and again from some users. Have you tried clearing your cache and/or disabling any extensions? This generally helps to correct the issue.

I appreciate your quick response. I switch from using a 3.5mm jack to using a USB adapter for my headset, and it has fixed the issue. Thanks.
