Hola ..
I have both the French and Spanish Rocket Programs. My French is very good as I live in Montreal and my spanish is like a 6/10. I listen to French talk radio all day while I am working to improve my French (it is a 9/10). I would like to do the same thing with Spanish. Can anyone recommend a good talk radio station on the internet?
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike. I lived in Montreal for many years. I don't know of any radio programs, but I listen to a couple of different podcasts. One of the best is "News in Slow Spanish", a weekly podcast of approx 45 minutes with current world news and a grammer component. The podcasts are free, but there is also a website that offers a lot more subscription content. I think Podcasts are a good alternative if radio isn't available. Also CNN.com\mexico has quite a bit of video.
Good luck; Bonne chance; Beuna suerta

For those interested in checking out free podcast supplements for learning:
There is a weekly podcast available via iTunes called "Coffee Break Spanish." It is only 15 minutes per week (thus not time consuming) It is based out of Barcelona, Spain where they randomly ask tourists the same question; and analyze the answer. The tourists are from
Spain, Chile, Argentina and so forth so you get an analysis of different accents, and usage. The host is quite congenial and entertaining. I believe there is a paid upgrade, but I find the free one just fine and helpful.

WOW, those are great suggestions. If you are looking for something more fun and relaxing, try using Youtube. Search for spanish cartoons. There are lot of them. Learning Spanish should be fun. The news is too serious at times.
I hope this helps.

I think the Spanish cartoons is a great idea! I live in Chicago, which has a huge Latin American population. As a result I have access to many Spanish speaking television and radio programs. Something else to try is ESPN Des Portes (sp?)
