It teaches both, as the "vosotros" form is included, and it is not used in Latin America. Having said that, the focus is mostly on Latin America (or seems to be). If you complete the courses I'm sure that you will be comfortable in any location where Spanish is spoken.

Hola amigos! Our friend JC as always: right! Even if Español is varies depending on the country or even among the same country, with this course you are getting the basis to be understood in any spanish speaking country! Of course, certain words an phrases could be consider "universal" whereas others are only specific and understood in an specific geographical area. Take a simple word like the word for Car or Automobile. In my city we call it "Carro", in central México they refered to it as "Coche" but if i go visit, México City for example and say "Automóvil " or "Carro" or anyother they will understand it 100% . Now, if i wanted to "blend in" al little i would have choosen "Coche" or even "Vehículo". And this is just México! Haha. Saludos desde Tijuana
