Validation of a great course!!

:D I'm in the Riviera Maya on vacation, and I have to say that Rocket Spanish has been a great help to me! Sure, many people here speak English, but it is always gratifying to see a smile when I can carry on a conversation in Espanol! Having starting with Michel Thomas' Spanish (good for verb tenses, really really bad for vocabulary), LSLC (good for verb tenses, okay for vocabulary), I can definitely say that Rocket Spanish has saved me a number of times by being able to recall vocabulary from the pratical situations the lessons are set in! Everyone wants to know where I learned Spanish, and when I say clase enlinia, de Internet, "Rocket Spanish" de un hombre de Chile, everyone is amazed! I was with one girl who said she had been studying for two years and couldn't say more than hello and goodbye. I've only been listening since February (thanks Mauricio and Amy for getting Rocket Spanish II out just in time), and did far better! One person even said I had a "buen accento"! Thanks to everyone here -- what a great course! Mauricio, Amy, and of course Carmen -- I'll take you to dinner any time you're in the Denver, CO area!! Muchas gracias todos!

Sounds to me like you had a great time too. It really does make a difference when you are overseas and not only can understand what people around you are saying but you can also join in conversations.
