Your program

I have visited your website many of times debating if I should purchase your program. I used Pimsluer I,II,and III and I feel I need something different. I don't want a course that simply gives you textbook learning. I am looking for everyday conversation Spanish. How is your course different and do you have audio CD's similar to Pimsluer?? Thank you James

Hello James, Thanks for your comment. Rocket Spanish offer both conversational and written Spanish and, yes, we do have interactive CDs like Pimsluer does, but we have a different approach. We try to make your learning a bit more fun and not so monotonous. You will be tackling real life scenario conversations for many different situations. You can test our methods by visiting __http://www.rocketspanish.com/audio1.php__ and do the free 6 part mini-course to see if Rocket Spanish is right for you. The first few lessons are for absolute beginners but they do get more interestng as it goes along. When you purchase Rocket Spanish, you also get access to all the written material and programs which includes grammer books, flashcards, games and a conversation book with embedded audio files so you can click on any Spanish word or phrase in a table and hear it spoken as many times as you like. Hope that gives you an idea of what Rocket Spanish offers. All the best, Mauricio

Hi, Joe! We've sent out our newsletters to you, and if you're not receiving them it means that they're getting caught up in your spam filter. Check your Junk folder or your spam filter settings. If you're getting our emails and can access the lesson web pages but are unable to play the audio files straight from the internet, I recommend that you try downloading the audio file and playing it directly from your computer. RIGHT-click on the link to the right of the green PLAY button and choose "Save Target As" or "Save Link As." Make sure to save the file in a location that you will easily remember (and if you can't find it once you've downloaded it, the name of the file is stated in brackets so that you can do a search for it). The audio files are large and will take a while to download--ESPECIALLY if you have a 56K modem. Hope this helps! -Amy

[quo]*Quote:* chica loca ... ten cuidado[/quo] Just curious Amy, Guessing offhand does your signature line mean "crazy chick, have caution" or similiar sentiment? Marcia

Hi, Marcia! Yep, basically that IS what it means ... "crazy girl, be careful." Mauricio told me that it wasn't going to create the best first impression. ;-) But I figure that it gives me a little bit of leeway to be a bit crazy with my posts and not take them all so seriously.

Amy, a mí me gusta mucho tu ... signature... (¿como se dice?). Los hombres deben tener cuidado de todas nos chicas locas! (did that come out alright? )

_Signature_ in Spanish is* firma.* I assume it must be the same for the internet meaning. Exactamente ... las chicas locas son muy peligrosas. ;-)
